"I think, well um, I dont know, just pedal faster and lean really far forward"

On Sunday we held the most important event on the New Zealand cycling calander - Red Bull Tires of Fire! Cyclists of all kinds came to get their ass handed to them by the new era in Kiwi pedal power Ken White! Ken didn’t just beat the previous record, he didn’t just beat everyone else, he beat them like they stole something! His winning skid was 270 meters! Others of noteable mention were Danger - Most expensive skid set up, Mike Simpson - Most crashes with unmatched flair, Jeff - 2nd place and meanest looking guy there, Wazman - He had actual flames on his Tires! Tim White - Best outfit, Mike Davies - Loudest skid by far! Mike Lawrence - sitting on the handle bars not the seat, and last but not least Brendon - look Mum, no hands!
This whole event was an awesome way to round out the year. Thanks to everyone who came out and wrecked their Tires, we Salute you all!
