(Pause our tunes, top left of the page, before playing the clip) As the Finalle to the Alltrack week we held the Red Bull Eye in the sky. A fixed gear bike check point race across the Auckland city fringe. The riders could choose their own route through the city to get to the 5 checkpoints (6 for the braked riders) and then hit the mandatory last checkpoint in Parnell and sprint to the finish at Britomart. This was a super exciting race and the footage is all the more exciting with the Amazing “Eye in the sky” angle caught from the Helicopter and the ground footage shot from the chase scooter.
