"who's got the hops?"
While we were in Wellington we hooked up with Caleb from Spoke Magazine and local all terrain shredder Luke McCombie and held a Bunny Hop contest on the Wellington Waterfront. Dont let the blus skys fool you, it was super windy and the guys kept changing which way they came from to try and keep a tail wind. The Wellington guys put on a serious display a hop skills! Nate Scott had the biggest hop at just under 42 inches! Thats high! Luke held it down for second at 38” and Tim and Tom took 3rd and 4th. The guys all got kitted with some BMX parts from The Shadow Conspiracy - Yeah Shadow! For a cold windy day this was a pretty good way to spend it!
