"Depends how hard I hit the water the first time"
Yesterday we headed up to Wairua Falls with our good friend, pro Kayaker and Red Bull Athlete, Ben Brown. Wairua falls is around 20k’s from Whangarei out amongst a bunch of farmland. It is 18M high! It can only be paddled a hand full of times each year when the water flow is just right. This was actually our second trip, the first time there was just too much water, so Ben was pretty stoked that we timed this trip just right. Ben has just returned from another epic adventure, this time in Iceland, and was keen to paddle some Kiwi water. The guys from TV3 came along to film Ben and to interview him about Iceland also.
