Over the weekend we rolled with our friends from ABC Skateboards for a little roadie down to the Mount to do a Demo and Skate a few spots along the way. Day one saw pretty much rain for the whole day so when it finally let up everyone was itching to stretch their legs and skate, even if it meant skating at midnight at a spot they may or may not have involved skating across the main road into to town for a run up. Red Bull would prove two days in a row to be a pretty handy thing for those late night skates.
Day 2 which was going to be 2 of 3 ended up being day 2 and 3. After breakfast we headed to the park for the Demo. There was an awesome crowd and dispite a howling wind everyone killed the demo. Everyone had a cool time and we stayed well into the afternoon. After lunch (which was at at 5) we headed to a random “Kicker on the boat ramp” spot. I have no idea what the intended purpose for this kicker is but its great for skating. as we headed home we made a few more stops for those random spot someone always knows and adro showed that when you drink six Red Bull’s you will have enough energy for that flat bar light up with the headlights!
