On February 18th Gorge Rd Jump Park in Queenstown witnessed a truly unbelievable display of BMX riding. Once the dust and carnage had settled from the 16 man super final, the riders votes were tallied and Paul Langland’s emerged as the 2012 Red Bull Roast It Best Rider. The Beverland family farm was once again invaded by a mob of New Zealand’s top BMX riders for Red Bull Double Down. Double Down was a competition to find the best dirt BMX rider in New Zealand. The competition was fierce with the Huntly locals out in full force, in the end Paul Langlands consistency took out first place. Check out all the action here.

After a Storm battered New Years we took off to the Mount in search for summer beaches and good times. DJ Onny came along and played some sweet beats at all the summer Hot spots. The Goodroom hosted a skate session on there indoor ramp and skate park for the local kids, with some banging beats and a few cold cans of Red Bull thanks to the Wings Girls every one had an amazing day. A tropical cyclone formed off the coast pushing up the swell and tearing the stranded Rena in half on the Asto-Lab reef off the coast so we decided it was time to head home.
