This year we attended the Highlife Matakana Experience to celebrate the New Year. It was a huge night and we had a great time. At Special Op’s Our Main event for New Years this year was Highlife at Matakana but being the impatatient types we decided to start early and held an impromtue pre New Years Party at the Highlife Campground on the 30th. Hey, we have the ultimate party truck, it would be a shame not to use it!

Red Bull Special Op’s 2IC Big Tom is hitting the road with Young Sid and DJ Taktix from the 6th to the 9th of January. First stop is WHITIANGA on the 6th then on to WAIHI, MT MAUNGANUI, PAPAMOA, TAURANGA. Keep an eye for the Hummer as the guys are dropping gigs wherever they feel like it!
They will be at: Smittys bar & Crisp Cafe in Whitianga on the 6th.
Whanga bar, Waihi beach hotel, Burrowing Bullie on the 7th.
Imbibe, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa Tavern on the 8th.
Cornerstone pub in Tauranga on the 9th.
But they also might just be at the beach where you are so keep eye and an ear out for them!

Our Friend Bruce (whose daughter just happens to be Michelle, one of our favourite Red Bull girls) celebrated his 50th birthday on the weekend and what better way to get the party started than with two and a half hours of non stop 70’s and 80’s jams playing loud from the Hummer! Bruce throws the best parties and this one was no exception. Happy Birthday Bruce!
